Introducing the Founding Farm Program

Today we’re opening the Copia Founding Farm Program — 50 spots for CSA farms who want to be part of building this product from the ground up.

Here’s what it means in plain terms.

What You Get

$29/mo, locked forever. The base rate never increases. Overages still apply if you go above 50 members (at $0.75/member), but the $29/mo floor stays put for the life of your account — even as we raise prices for new customers, add features, or grow the platform.

The full platform. Founding Farms get every feature we ship: Shopify-native checkout, batch billing, harvest planning, pickup locations, member self-service, and POS check-in. No feature is gated or add-on only for founding members.

Direct access to the founder. You’ll have a real conversation with me (Trevor) about your farm, your season structure, and how Copia can fit into your workflow. This isn’t just support — it’s product development. Your feedback shapes what gets built.

What We Ask For

Honest feedback. If something doesn’t work the way you need it to, we want to know. If a feature is missing that would make your season run better, tell us. Founding Farms aren’t just early adopters — they’re the farms we’re building for.

We also ask for a willingness to talk with us at least once. Not an ongoing commitment, just one conversation at the start so we understand your operation.

Who This Is For

The Founding Farm program is for CSA farms that:

• Are currently using Shopify or are willing to move to Shopify
• Run at least one CSA season per year with paying members
• Are frustrated with their current CSA software or are looking for their first real system
• Want a long-term tool, not a stopgap

If you’re currently on CSAware, Barn2Door, Farmhand, or managing everything in spreadsheets — this program was designed with you in mind.

Why We’re Doing It This Way

We could have launched with a standard pricing structure and let early adopters figure it out. Instead, we’re making a specific bet: 50 farms, lifetime pricing, direct access, in exchange for the feedback that makes the product better for everyone.

This is how we want to build Copia. Not as a VC-backed SaaS company optimizing for growth metrics, but as a tool that earns its place in your farm’s operation by being genuinely useful.
